Supporting Local Events for the Communities We Serve

Our team at Meramec Ambulance District takes great pride in being able to showcase our commitment to our community that we love and serve through community outreach and local events. Did your student recently mention that they saw paramedics at their school or out in the community? Don’t worry! Our crews regularly participate in events at our local schools, community centers, civic parades and more. We are out in our community, and we want to connect with you! We invite kids and adults alike to come say “hi” and take a tour of the ambulance and other district apparatus.

ImpactLife Blood Drive

Support those in our community in need of blood and donate! Meramec Ambulance District hosts blood drives throughout the year. Give life-saving blood and get free swag or  ImpactLife will donate to an animal shelter in your honor. Follow us on Facebook to learn more about blood drive events!

School Visits and Education Events

Our crews love to support our local schools and interact with the students in our district! We invite all students to explore our ambulance and learn more about the crucial role of first responders.

Trunk or Treat Events

Our ambulance holds a lot of candy and treats! Meramec crews participate in trunk-or-treat events sponsored by our schools. Tell us a joke and fill your bag with candy!

Adopt-A-Family Christmas Toy Drive

Every holiday season, Meramec Ambulance District hosts a holiday toy collection event to benefit local families in need. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we always fill the ambulance with toys! 

 

In addition to our annual toy drive, our very own Meramec Ambulance District employees adopt 3 local families in our community that are in need and purchase gifts for the children in those families. More information about this annual event will be posted as the holiday season approaches.
